Located in the picturesque "City of Heroes"—Nanchang, Jiangxi Province—the company currently employs over 570 people, including 112 mid-to-senior-level professional technicians and individuals holding master’s degrees or higher.
South Hard Company took decisive and comprehensive action to address the ammonia-containing exhaust emissions from its tungsten oxide workshop, completely shutting down the tungsten oxide production line on January 23, 2020—effectively resolving the ammonia emission issue at its root. Meanwhile, to tackle the wastewater generated during spray tower cleaning in the alloy workshop, the company installed a rainproof canopy over the sedimentation tanks and simultaneously completed landscaping around the tanks, along with setting up a standardized platform for collecting waste containers. To ensure sustained improvements, South Hard Company has invested nearly 5 million yuan in constructing a project focused on separating stormwater from sewage and upgrading the plant’s production wastewater treatment system. The project spans 1,620 square meters and, once completed, will be capable of processing 300 tons of both production and domestic wastewater daily, effectively addressing the park’s overall wastewater management challenges and significantly enhancing the environmental quality within the industrial area.
