Nanchang Cemented Carbide Co., Ltd. is a national-level high-tech enterprise and also boasts a provincial-level enterprise technology center. The company currently employs over 100 professional technical personnel and is equipped with a comprehensive suite of advanced equipment essential for the research and development of cemented carbide and tool products. These include internationally state-of-the-art machinery such as ball mills, forming presses, extruders, pressure sintering furnaces, precision grinding machines, scanning electron microscopes, X-ray fluorescence analyzers, microhardness testers, coercivity testers, magnetic saturation instruments, and cutting tool inspection devices—enabling the company to provide a top-notch R&D platform for developing innovative products, technologies, and processes. Additionally, the company is capable of undertaking small-batch production of cemented carbide products. Today, its technology R&D platform has already reached a leading position among domestic peers in the same industry.

The Technology Center annually invites experts from both domestic and international fields to provide guidance on its technology development initiatives. In recent years, the center has undertaken more than 20 provincial-level or higher science and technology projects, as well as projects aimed at introducing advanced foreign technologies and managerial talent. As a result, it has developed several core technologies and innovative products—some of which have been recognized as Key New Products of Jiangxi Province and have earned numerous prestigious provincial and municipal awards for outstanding new products. Additionally, the related technologies and equipment have received the Third Prize in China’s Nonferrous Metals Industry Science and Technology Awards. To date, the center has filed over 20 patent applications, with more than 10 patents already granted, and has played a leading role in drafting over 10 national standards.
