Nanchang Cemented Carbide Co., Ltd. (referred to as Nanchang Hard Company), established in 1966, was restructured and officially renamed Nanchang Cemented Carbide Co., Ltd. in May 2003. It is a key subsidiary under China Minmetals Corporation, one of the world’s top 500 companies. Today, the company is a state-controlled Sino-foreign joint venture, with majority ownership held by Zhongtung Hi-Tech Materials Co., Ltd. (stock code: 000657), along with minority stakes from Nanchang Yongsheng Asset Operation & Management Co., Ltd. and Japan’s Tungaloy Corporation. The company boasts a complete tungsten industry chain and stands as one of China’s leading production, operation, and export bases for advanced tungsten powder products, cemented carbides, and precision tools. Its products are widely used across industries such as machinery, automotive, electronics, and aerospace. Nanchang Hard Company has also set up a provincial-level enterprise technology center and has been recognized as an outstanding national high-tech enterprise.
